A Work in Progress...

This is one of the latest pieces that I am working on.  I know it looks a little crazy like this, but I promise it will be a stunner when its completed.  Its a big piece, 24" x 18", and the concept is that the crazy colored lines will act as a resist as I complete the drypoint over it.  So the colors are just some tape that I used to block out the lines (I hope the patterns don't sear my eyes before I finish...It already makes me a little anxious!) and the image is of the Empire State Building from the Top of the Rock.  The lines actually mark out the Manhattan street grid from the one landmark to the other.  I will keep you posted on its progress, and the wheels are already spinning to make this into a series!
